Description
A creamy and spicy Louisiana dipping sauce made with mayonnaise, mustard, Cajun spices, garlic, and lemon juice. Perfect for seafood, fries, and sandwiches.
Ingredients
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
2 tsp hot sauce
2 tsp prepared horseradish
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp parsley, chopped
2 tbsp green onions
salt and black pepper
Instructions
1. In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, mustard, and lemon juice.
2. Add Cajun seasoning, hot sauce, horseradish, and garlic.
3. Mix until smooth.
4. Stir in parsley and green onions.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a spicier Cajun remoulade, add extra hot sauce or a pinch of cayenne pepper.
For the best flavor, let the sauce rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Store the sauce in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
