Description

Juicy meatloaf stuffed with melty mozzarella and wrapped in bacon for the ultimate comforting family dinner.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)

  • ½ lb ground pork

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

  • ½ cup milk

  • 1 small onion, finely diced

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • ⅓ cup ketchup

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • ½ tsp smoked paprika

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese, sliced or shredded

  • 1012 bacon strips


Instructions

  • Soak breadcrumbs in milk.

  • Sauté onion and garlic until soft.

  • Combine meats, eggs, breadcrumbs, onion mixture, and seasonings.

  • Shape meat, add mozzarella, and seal.

  • Wrap with bacon.

  • Bake at 375°F until internal temp reaches 160°F.

  • Rest before slicing.

Freeze before baking if making ahead.
