Ingredients

3/4 cup warm milk

2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

2 eggs

4 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp salt

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 tbsp cinnamon

1/4 cup melted butter

1 cup powdered sugar

2–3 tbsp milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

Purple, green, and gold sanding sugar
Instructions

Activate yeast in warm milk with sugar.

Add eggs, butter, salt, and flour to form dough.

Knead and let rise until doubled.

Roll dough, add filling, shape into ring.

Let rise again, then bake until golden.

Cool, ice, and decorate.
Notes
Can be made ahead and iced before serving.
Freeze un-iced cake up to 2 months.
Insert trinket after baking.
