Ingredients

1 lb boneless chicken thighs or breasts

1 tablespoon neutral oil

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, finely grated

2 cloves garlic, minced

1½ cups long-grain white rice

2½ cups chicken broth

1½ tablespoons soy sauce

1 teaspoon sesame oil

Green onions, sliced (optional)
Instructions

Sauté ginger and garlic gently in oil until fragrant.

Add chicken and cook until just opaque.

Stir in rice to coat.

Add broth, soy sauce, and sesame oil.

Bring to boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer 15–18 minutes.

Rest 5 minutes, fluff, and serve.
Notes
Let rice rest before fluffing. Store leftovers up to 4 days refrigerated or freeze up to 2 months with added moisture when reheating.
