Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless chicken thighs or breasts

  • 1 tablespoon neutral oil

  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, finely grated

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1½ cups long-grain white rice

  • 2½ cups chicken broth

  • 1½ tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

  • Green onions, sliced (optional)


Instructions

  • Sauté ginger and garlic gently in oil until fragrant.

  • Add chicken and cook until just opaque.

  • Stir in rice to coat.

  • Add broth, soy sauce, and sesame oil.

  • Bring to boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer 15–18 minutes.

  • Rest 5 minutes, fluff, and serve.

Notes

Let rice rest before fluffing. Store leftovers up to 4 days refrigerated or freeze up to 2 months with added moisture when reheating.
